Madisson Thomas
When a gift for numbers and a passion for art are combined, the result is an intuitive understanding of how to blend function and design.
Madisson’s education and experience include the unique mixture of economics and interior design. “After earning a degree at UC Santa Barbara, I worked for several years at an accounting firm,” she says. “I loved the company culture, but the work itself was not fulfilling my need for creativity.” Her lifelong interest in architecture and design led her to return to college and embark on a new career path in interior design.
A particular strength soon emerged. Madisson found she was especially drawn to residential drafting and design, and that introduced her to CAD classes, leading to a course focused on kitchen and bath design, which opened the door to a field custom-made for her interests and abilities—designing custom cabinetry.
Presented with the opportunity to work with Nina Silver, Madisson jumped at the chance to develop her already solid CAD skills and learn from the best. “Madisson’s talent for CAD is a tremendous asset,” says Nina, “and I am even more impressed by how quickly she masters new skills and how much she loves to see the designs that we draw for our clients come to life.”
