From a childhood spent designing homes for characters in “The Sims” video game to a stimulating career in drafting and design, Lindsey has found the ideal outlet for her talents, skills and education.

Lindsey’s sense of creativity is wrapped around a highly analytical core. Her first degree and early career were in accounting, where she excelled but wasn’t intellectually satisfied. “I realized it was not pushing me to be my creative self,” she recalls. “I craved a creative outlet, so I returned to college and earned a degree in Interior Design.” As a design student, Lindsey found she had an intuitive understanding of how the creative aspects of design are intertwined with the technical.

Every design project provides an opportunity to solve unique problems in innovative and imaginative ways. A self-described “huge nerd,” Lindsey loves how computers allow her to work at maximum efficiency, using different programs such as AutoCAD and SketchUp to bring her ideas to life.

Lindsey excelled right from the start at Nina Silver Drafting and Design. “Lindsey is very skilled, and her very first projects were completed quickly and accurately,” Nina says. “I knew right away that she was going to be a huge asset to this company and our clients.”
